The heart behind Night Night 4 Baby

Meet Stephaney Peterkin

Newborn Care Specialist, New Parent Educator, and Pediatric Sleep Consultant

My connection to newborn care began when I was 15 years old, helping families in my neighborhood welcome and care for their babies. I was naturally drawn to the trust and responsibility that came with supporting newborns and their parents during such an important season. What began as a simple desire to help gradually became a lifelong calling—and the foundation for the work I do today.

After moving to the United States, I helped my younger sister care for her newborn. I saw firsthand how overwhelming those early days can be. As I answered her questions and explained what her baby was doing and why, I watched her become less afraid and more confident. That experience stayed with me and strengthened my belief that every new parent deserves this kind of support. For over 20 years, I’ve worked with children, and for the past eight years, I’ve focused exclusively on newborns.

These experiences shape the way I support families today. At Night Night 4 Baby, you work directly with me, Stephaney Peterkin. I am calm, patient, and intuitive, and I believe in communication, teamwork, and preparing parents with knowledge that lasts long after our time together. I want you to feel comfortable reaching out, even later on, because your confidence truly matters to me.

When I walk into your home, I want you to know that you don’t have to worry. I take the time to explain what your baby is doing, why it’s happening, and what you can expect next. I want you to feel supported, respected, and completely comfortable asking any question, because every question matters.

If you’re here, it’s because you want to do the very best for your baby, and that already tells me so much about you. I know how many questions come with caring for a newborn and how overwhelming it can feel when you’re not sure what’s happening or why. You don’t have to go through that alone. I’m here to guide you, explain each step, and help you feel calm and confident instead of worried or unsure.

Yes, when I leave, your baby will be sleeping through the night and your home will feel more rested, but my purpose goes beyond sleep. I want you to understand your baby, trust yourself, and feel secure in what you’re doing for your family. I feel deeply blessed to do this work. It’s not just a job—it’s my calling, my passion, and my gift. Supporting families in this way is something I hold close to my heart. I’m here for you.
